全日本実業団自転車競技連盟がかつて開催したJBCF輪島ロードレースの開催地、輪島市との縁から、令和6年能登半島地震による被災地・被災者への義援金を募集している。同連盟としては決済手数料を負担するという。以下、プレスリリースより

【JBCF】令和6年能登半島地震による被災地・被災者への義援金のお願い

2008年から2017年まで10回を数えたJBCF輪島ロードレースの開催に多大なご協力をいただいた輪島市の方々をはじめ、多くの方が被災されました。亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈り申し上げますとともに、そのご家族や被災された方々に、心よりお悔やみとお見舞いを申し上げます。義援金受付ページはこちら

JBCF輪島ロードレースは2007年に起きた能登半島地震による震災復興の一環として10年間、数少ない本州公道レースのひとつとして開催されました。その間、チーム・選手をはじめとする大会関係者を温かく迎え入れて自転車ロードレースを応援してくださった輪島市の皆さまには大変お世話になりました。今も当連盟のレースに参加されている選手・チーム関係者には、当時参加されていた方が多くいらっしゃると思います。

当連盟といたしましては、このたびの震災に際して、恩返しのために義援金（決済手数料はJBCF負担）を募り、支援の一助となればと考えております。集まった義援金は当時お世話になった輪島市および現地関係者の皆さまとも相談し、被災された方々に届ける予定です。また、レース会場での募金等も継続的に行っていく予定です。

Many people were affected by the disaster, including the people of Wajima City, who have given so much cooperation in organizing the JBCF Wajima Road Race, which has been held 10 times from 2008 to 2017. We pray for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and offer our deepest condolences and sympathy to their families and all those affected by the disaster.

The JBCF Wajima Road Race was held for 10 years as one of the few public road races in Honshu as part of the reconstruction efforts following the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2007. During that time, we are very grateful to the people of Wajima City, who warmly welcomed the teams, riders, and other race officials and supported the bicycle road race. I believe that many of the athletes and team officials who still participate in our Federation’s races are those who took part in the races back then.

In response to the earthquake disaster, the JBCF is collecting donations (JBCF will bear the settlement fee) in the hope of helping to repay the kindness of the victims. We will consult with the city of Wajima, which was a great help to us at the time, as well as with local officials, and plan to deliver the collected donations to those affected by the disaster. We also plan to continue collecting donations at race venues.
